Clinical Supervisor

• Coordinate day-to-day clinical practice operations
• Supervise practice clinical staff
• Manage variability in census, acuity, staffing levels, and patient flow
• Support staff in providing patient care
• Assess and direct resource allocation
• Function as a clinical resource for staff
• Assign staff and delineate patient care
• Participate in hiring, orientation, corrective action, annual reviews, and staff feedback
• Validate the clinical skills of registered nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Medical Assistants
• Create, review, and administer policies and procedures and ensure compliance
• Provide weekly payroll updates
• Manage clinical inventory, ordering, and narcotic inventory
• Monitor immunizations and control vaccines
• Provide in-services on new and existing equipment
• Maintain OSHA, CLIA, MCIR, and other standards compliance
• Manage difficult situations using diplomatic problem-solving skills
• Encourage teamwork and individual accountability
• Support the Practice Manager
• Perform other duties as assigned
