Develop and maintain in-sprint test automation aligned to Agile development cycles.
Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams.
Execute automated and manual tests as needed, performing detailed failure analysis and root cause investigations.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
Drive continuous improvement of automation frameworks, tools, and processes to increase test coverage, stability, and execution efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent industry experience.
3+ years of experience as a software developer, QA engineer, or SDET, including hands‑on experience with automated testing for mainframe systems.
Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or C#; familiarity with VBScript, HTML, or SQL is a plus.
Experience developing test utilities or internal tools using Java, Python, or scripting languages.
Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger, SoapUI) for validating RESTful services (JSON/XML).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Spinnaker, Bamboo) and integrating tests within build pipelines.
Proficiency with Git or other version control and collaborative development tools.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, Agile methodologies, QA concepts, and shift-left testing practices.
Certified ISTQB certification is a plus.
