About the role
- Sales of Trading, Trust, and Custody solutions, including CIT solutions, to clients in the retirement and wealth industry.
- Establish, build, and maintain relationships with clients with the goal of a positive and productive long-term relationship.
- Identify new business opportunities within new and existing clients.
- Maintain account relationships, grow existing relationships, and cross sell additional services into account base.
- Lead the sales process from origination through to close, including qualification, executive presentations, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
- Collaborate with other Broadridge sales and account management teams.
- Partner with internal resources to provide the necessary expertise and support during the sales and solutioning process, including legal, finance, product, and senior management.
- Represent Broadridge at industry conferences and regional events.
- Travel to prospect and client sites.
Requirements
- 10+ Years of experience in the retirement industry
- Existing network of relationships in the retirement industry
- Ability to build, foster, and maintain key relationships, including senior executive level relationships
- Proven track record of success in achieving / exceeding sales quotas
- Ability to effectively navigate complex organizations
- Ability to handle multiple strategic client accounts
- Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to take a consultative sales approach to problem solving with existing and prospective clients
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint skills
- Strong technical foundation; ability to use CRM, MS Office, social tools, etc.
- Willing to travel frequently to for clients and prospect meetings.
