About the role
- Monitoring and controlling access into any Broadridge facility or sensitive/critical area
- Ensuring the safety of assigned Associates and guests
- Responsible for the general administration of the Security Console Room
- Investigate incidents and notify proper organizational representatives
- Responsible for maintaining all security documentation and acting as a training officer
- Supervises staff in performance of work and guides in resolving problems
- Conducts performance evaluations for assigned staff
- Makes periodic inspections of assigned facilities and personnel
- Draft policies and procedures for upper management review
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of three years of experience in the security field preferred
- Able to work Saturday and Sunday 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, and Thursday and Friday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Ability to communicate verbally in a clear and professional manner
- Must be able to write in an effective, clear, and concise manner
- Knowledge of filing and phone courtesy is required
- Ability to use personal computer including intermediate level of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS TEAMS is required
- CPR qualified preferred
- Must be able to travel and perform other related duties as assigned by management.
