About the role
- Manage the business unit P&L and working as a lead business partner to the General Manager
- Driving Operating Plan, Strat Plan, Monthly Results and Monthly Forecasts
- Obtain strong understanding of products, including sales and revenue cycles
- Partnering with Business Unit FP&A Leads to review results and make recommendations
- Variance Analysis including commentary and presentation of results
- Provide financial recommendations and input to Senior Management
- Streamline and create process efficiencies where possible
- Provide leadership and guidance to direct and indirect reports
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance and/or Sales Finance.
- Financial services industry experience helpful
- Proactive mindset, intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, logical thinking and ability to identify and leverage best practices
- Strong analytical and quantitative skill with the ability to interpret data analysis and modeling results into actionable recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communicator
- Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience required
- Masters in Business Administration highly desired (but not required)
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- MS Power BI or other analytical tools desired but not required.
