About the role
- Partner directly with VKS Engineers to troubleshoot, architect, and refine the core platform based on real-world edge cases
- Interface with customers to dissect highly complex, distributed systems issues
- Build tools and patterns that prevent problems
- Write deep-dive blog posts, white papers, and technical articles
- Lead the field teams by educating them on K8s best practices
Requirements
- Current CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer)
- Bachelor degree plus 12+ years or Master degree plus 10+ years related experience preferred
- Deep experience with Kubernetes internals (compute, networking, storage) and managing production clusters at scale
- Mastery of Terraform, Helm, and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD or Flux)
- Proficiency in Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger/OpenTelemetry
- Strong proficiency in BASH or Python
