About the role

  • Own and be the expert for all business metrics, managing the one source of truth in Snowflake and Steep
  • Design, build and optimise scalable data solutions and infrastructure using tools like Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt and Steep
  • Work with cross-functional teams during new product launches to build bespoke data sources in Snowflake to understand usage and impact
  • Support stakeholders across the business in using the data catalogue to analyse product usage and make data-driven decisions
  • Champion data excellence by sharing expertise and cultivating a data-driven culture
  • Contribute to architectural design reviews to ensure infrastructure is scalable, performant and reliable
  • Enable data-savvy colleagues to uncover insights and drive impact

Requirements

  • Experienced Analytics Engineer with a strong understanding of SQL and dbt
  • Proficient in Python
  • Experience with Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt and Steep
  • Ability to own and manage business metrics and a single source of truth
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams during product launches to build bespoke data sources
  • Ability to support stakeholders in using the data catalogue to analyse product usage
  • Comfortable contributing to architectural design reviews and building scalable, high-performance infrastructure
  • Motivated to help people across the business use data to drive strategic decisions
