About the role

Dig deep into user-support and product usage data to surface trends, volumes, and friction signals
Design, build, and maintain self-serve dashboards and reporting tools to enable non-technical teams
Establish a unified metrics taxonomy and build automated data-sharing pipelines and scorecards
Instrument and analyze model usage, adoption trends, feature-level engagement, and downstream product insights
Partner closely with Product, Sales, and Engineering to ensure clean pipelines, robust models, and scalable tooling
Conduct bespoke deep-dive analyses and deliver clear strategic recommendations to leadership
Prototype quickly using ChatGPT, Jupyter notebooks, Retool and harden solutions with Engineering
Collaborate on predictive models and experimentation and translate results into operational recommendations
Work closely with the CEO and customers to understand requirements and prioritize product improvements

5+ years in analytics, business intelligence, or data science, ideally supporting customer support or operations teams
Expert-level SQL skills
Proficiency in Python or R for advanced analysis and automation
Hands-on experience designing and maintaining BI dashboards (e.g. Looker, Mode, Tableau, Sundial)
Demonstrated ability to translate complex datasets into clear business stories and recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences
Familiarity with support metrics (SLAs, FCR, deflection) and ability to define service health KPIs
Strong cross-functional communication skills
An eye for detail, a zero-defect mindset, and a bias toward action
Strong bias for automation and ability to defend governance decisions
Ability to handle priorities shifting quickly
