About the role
- Dig deep into user-support and product usage data to surface trends, volumes, and friction signals
- Design, build, and maintain self-serve dashboards and reporting tools to enable non-technical teams
- Establish a unified metrics taxonomy and build automated data-sharing pipelines and scorecards
- Instrument and analyze model usage, adoption trends, feature-level engagement, and downstream product insights
- Partner closely with Product, Sales, and Engineering to ensure clean pipelines, robust models, and scalable tooling
- Conduct bespoke deep-dive analyses and deliver clear strategic recommendations to leadership
- Prototype quickly using ChatGPT, Jupyter notebooks, Retool and harden solutions with Engineering
- Collaborate on predictive models and experimentation and translate results into operational recommendations
- Work closely with the CEO and customers to understand requirements and prioritize product improvements
Requirements
- 5+ years in analytics, business intelligence, or data science, ideally supporting customer support or operations teams
- Expert-level SQL skills
- Proficiency in Python or R for advanced analysis and automation
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining BI dashboards (e.g. Looker, Mode, Tableau, Sundial)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex datasets into clear business stories and recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with support metrics (SLAs, FCR, deflection) and ability to define service health KPIs
- Strong cross-functional communication skills
- An eye for detail, a zero-defect mindset, and a bias toward action
- Strong bias for automation and ability to defend governance decisions
- Ability to handle priorities shifting quickly
