About the role

  • Management: Lead a team of industrial vehicle technicians, allocate work, advise and motivate staff, and participate in managing employee skills
  • Report to the branch manager
  • Be responsible for team safety and enforce the company's HSE policy
  • Specifically oversee agricultural and civil engineering/materials handling activities
  • Perform wheel mounting on all types of industrial vehicle wheels in the workshop and on-site during breakdowns
  • Carry out tire positioning, fitting, tightening and pressure checks for industrial vehicle tires
  • Perform breakdown repairs
  • Monitor and ensure participation in company training programs (refresher courses, electrical training, etc.)
  • Welcome customers
  • Prepare estimates/quotes
  • Handle invoicing
  • Schedule customer appointments
  • Manage administrative tasks related to tire management (inventory, ordering, waste, retreading, etc.)

Requirements

  • Qualification (CAP, BTS, CQP, etc.) in mechanics or heavy vehicle mechanics / MVA (Automotive Vehicle Maintenance), with a road transport vehicles option OR CQP OMPVI (Operator for Maintenance of Industrial Vehicle Tires)
  • If no diploma: a work certificate proving at least 3 years' experience in the trade
  • If you have neither a diploma nor a work certificate proving at least 3 years' experience in a similar role: internal training and paired work for 2 months will be required during the probationary period
