About the role
- Design and implement automated build, test, and deployment processes leveraging DevSecOps best practices that align with DoD cybersecurity objectives
- Manage containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker to support cyber defense platforms
- Perform security hardening and performance tuning for EKS clusters in compliance with DoD and COSC guidelines
- Develop and maintain Helm charts for secure, repeatable Kubernetes deployments
- Optimize Kubernetes resource allocation and autoscaling configurations to support dynamic mission workloads
- Integrate security tools and continuous scanning practices into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid delivery of hardened code
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible
- Maintain compliance with security controls per NIST SP 800-53, DISA STIGs, and the DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Reference Design
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on security, scalability, and reliability
- Enable automated pipelines that integrate security and operational requirements throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Collaborate with Government clients, other Contractors, and Stakeholders in a badgeless team environment
Requirements
- All candidates must have an active Secret clearance or above to be eligible for hire
- Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for building services in IaaS/PaaS/SaaS in Cloud environments
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in an Agile delivery environment
- Experience deploying and maintaining production workloads using one or more public cloud service providers with a strong preference for AWS or Azure
- Experience building and maintaining automated pipelines used for CI/CD, process automation, and/or data processing tasks
- Familiarity with Linux and scripting (Bash and Python, etc.)
- Experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) solutions using tools like Packer, Terraform, Ansible, and Helm
- Proven aptitude to create scripts and/or templates to automate and/or bootstrap infrastructure provisioning and management tasks
- Exceptional communication skills and desire to work in a ‘badgeless” collaborative team environment consisting of Government clients, other Contractors, and Stakeholders
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering related discipline
- Due to government requirements a U.S. citizenship is required for this role
- DoD cybersecurity compliance knowledge (NIST SP 800-53, DISA STIGs, DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Reference Design)
