About the role

  • Work on a pivotal Federal program impacting millions of Americans' daily lives
  • Create and document CI/CD jobs and pipelines (GitHub Actions)
  • Create infrastructure with Terraform and support IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform)
  • Write Ansible playbooks and build internal tools
  • Collaborate with DevOps engineers and multidisciplinary teams of developers, managers, and product managers
  • Support and maintain scalable AWS environments (ECS, Lambda, SQS, S3, API Gateway)
  • Monitor systems and logs using DataDog and CloudWatch; troubleshoot Docker and Kubernetes workloads
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, with skill in developing and improving scripts and services for faster, more reliable deployments
  • Expertise with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, SQS, S3, API Gateway, and CloudFormation to create and support scalable environments
  • Proficiency with Docker for containerization, including investigation and troubleshooting, and experience orchestrating workloads in Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as DataDog and CloudWatch to ensure system health, performance, and reliability
  • Familiarity with Node.js applications and the ability to collaborate with development teams to optimize build, test, and deployment workflows
  • Experience working with and supporting Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools
  • Experience working in Agile software development teams
  • A team player with the desire and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of developers, managers and product managers

  • Bachelor’s degree
