About the role

  • Engage with clients in various critical infrastructure sectors to enhance their Microsoft security posture, handling projects from short-term implementations to long-term transformations.
  • Work with technologies like Microsoft Sentinel, the Defender suite, and Purview, while collaborating with client IT teams to ensure effective adoption.
  • Provide expertise in design workshops, conduct proof-of-concepts, and align solutions with industry best practices.
  • Leverage your systems administration background to address underlying infrastructure issues that affect security tool performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • Four years or more of hands-on experience implementing Microsoft security technologies (Sentinel, Defender suite)
  • Proven experience in Windows systems administration and Active Directory management
  • Strong PowerShell scripting capabilities for automation and security tasks
  • Deep understanding of Windows security, authentication protocols, and hardening techniques
  • Experience with Azure AD/Entra ID security features including Conditional Access and PIM
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CIS, MITRE ATT&CK)

  • Microsoft Security Operations Analyst (SC-200)
  • Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)
  • Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
