About the role

  • Lead the People agenda in the Americas, acting as both strategic partner and operational driver.
  • Supervise and mentor the People Operations team (currently 2), overseeing payroll, benefits, onboarding, compliance, recruitment and employee experience.
  • Shape workforce planning, performance, and compensation strategies aligned with the global framework.
  • Partner with senior leaders on organizational design, culture, and talent development.
  • Oversee core HR processes, including performance reviews, salary reviews, talent reviews, succession planning, and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S., Canadian, and Latin American labour laws in partnership with Legal and external counsel.
  • Champion Brevo’s culture and values, driving engagement and inclusion across the region.
  • Act as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the CRO & CEO Americas.
  • Prepare and follow up on leadership team meetings, QBRs, and board materials.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives: GTM strategy, change management, revenue enablement, and M&A integrations.
  • Monitor and track OKRs and business KPIs to ensure alignment between strategy and execution.
  • Facilitate effective communication across global and regional teams.
  • Handle confidential, high-impact projects with professionalism and discretion.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in HR leadership, People Partnering, or Chief of Staff roles, ideally in SaaS or high-growth tech
  • Proven track record as a regional HR leader or trusted advisor to executives
  • Deep knowledge of compensation, performance management, workforce planning, and talent strategy
  • Strong ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Familiarity with US, Canadian, and LATAM labor laws
  • Excellent program/project management and organizational skills
  • High emotional intelligence, with proven ability to build trust at C-level
  • Previous team management experience required
  • MBA or an advanced degree in HR/Business is a plus
