About the role
- Serve as a strategic thought partner for the VP of D&A Performance —driving clarity, execution, and measurable outcomes for the business.
- Establish and maintain a clear operating cadence, including leadership forums and all-hands meetings creating team alignment and shared context.
- Maintain, enhance or deprecate current activities as needed.
- Develop, launch and own leadership accountability for the organization (e.g. Quarterly Operating Review’s, Executive leadership readouts, town halls) and produce crisp narratives and materials.
- Cross-functional strategic alignment with core internal partners (e.g. Technology, Business Teams, Analytics & Data Science Teams).
- Develop a strategic financial perspective for the organization spanning all financial levers, enhance partnership with Finance counterparts for alignment and tracking over the calendar year.
- Guide value framing, trade-offs and resourcing to maximize business impact across our digital product and customer engagement/experience teams.
- Partner with Analytics team to stand up KPIs for product development and customer engagement programs and report progress with data-backed insights.
- Proactively identify risks/blocks and coordinate cross-functional resolutions to keep outcomes on track.
- Develop briefs, memos and exec-ready storytelling for executive leadership and external audiences; simplify complexity into action.
- Represent the function in cross-enterprise forums and synthesize external signals (market/tech) into clear recommendations.
- Partner with HRBPs for improved cross-org talent calibration, increased internal talent mobility, strategic staffing and the development of a strong early career pipeline.
- Foster team vitality through measurable engagement activities and transparent goal laddering down through leadership levels.
- Drive partnership with business, technology and data teams to enable strong alignment through consistent communication and evaluation of progress against business performance. Ensure we have alignment between deliverables and team capacity highlighting gaps and developing infrastructure to track.
Requirements
- 8+ years' of progressive experience in strategy, analytics, product, consulting, or COS/COO-type roles (healthcare preferred)
- Familiarity with Product development and customer engagement concepts with a track record of connecting digital experiences to business value
- Strong financial background and experience securing funding in highly matrixed environments
- Demonstrated program leadership experience and the ability to drive clarity and results in matrixed environments without formal ownership
- Exceptional executive communication and storytelling (decks, memos) and stakeholder influence skills
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS Information Systems, MS Analytics or related) preferred
- Tangible experience designing, developing and implementing enterprise digital initiatives and frameworks at scale
- Demonstrated experience enacting transformational change as opposed to stepwise improvements
- Exposure to payer/provider or integrated healthcare environments
