About the role
- Provide facility and process troubleshooting, facility and process design and management
- Assist with needs related to process safety and training, project design and implementation, regulatory and compliance assistance
- Support of project work related to the business
- Responsible for day-to-day and long-term process support and process optimization in all areas of the assigned facilities
- Improve process safety, efficiency, reliability, improve product quality, and reduce manufacturing costs
- Assist and manage active projects within Brenntag facilities
- Conduct audits of manufacturing/blending/distribution processes as needed
Requirements
- Must have a BS in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical preferred)
- Must have a minimum of 2 years relative experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
- Ability to oversee and manage complex service and repair work of diverse types of electrical and plant equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, sketches, and drawings
- Operate a computer and various specified software programs
- Must possess or qualify for a TWIC card
- Must successfully pass background check and drug screen
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software
- Auto CAD and MS Vizio experience and proficiency is a plus.
