About the role
- Drive sustainable and profitable growth within the CASE market segments.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, strengthening strategic customer and supplier relationships.
- Introduce innovative material and application solutions aligned with Brenntag’s regional and global strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with principals to remain informed on new raw materials, formulation technologies, application developments, and market trends.
- Promote Brenntag’s technical capabilities and product portfolio at key accounts, working closely with technical and application support teams.
- Develop and execute structured business plans with defined short-, medium-, and long-term objectives aligned to budgets and strategic growth targets.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop competitive pricing strategies and support complex customer negotiations.
- Actively manage and maintain a robust project and opportunity pipeline to ensure successful commercialisation and return on investment.
- Represent Brenntag at industry events, customer forums, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and market positioning within the CASE industry.
Requirements
- 5–8 years’ experience in business development or technical sales within coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers, chemical distribution, or related manufacturing industries.
- Proven track record of winning new business, developing applications, and growing key accounts.
- Experience managing the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification through to commercial closure and ongoing account development.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with commercial, technical, supply chain, and supplier partners.
- Strong understanding of formulations, raw materials, and customer applications, supported by excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM systems (SAP knowledge advantageous).
