About the role

  • **RESPONSIBILITIES**
  • - Oversee the setup and operation of ticket scanners, entry lanes, barricades, and gate signage.
  • - Manage gate layout adjustments, including bike rack placement and traffic flow optimization.
  • - Train and supervise scanning staff to ensure proper procedures and high-quality guest service.
  • - Track and manage staff hours and scheduling.
  • - Monitor and manage guest entry and exit flow to prevent congestion and ensure safety.
  • - Maintain and manage all gate equipment and scanning devices.
  • - Partner closely with security teams and local law enforcement to ensure safe and smooth gate operations.
  • - Control access points, verify credentials, enforce site rules, and report any suspicious activity.
  • - Resolve guest complaints, provide information, and manage high-volume guest interactions.
  • - Make real-time operational decisions related to long queues, equipment issues, or unauthorized entry.
  • - Maintain professionalism in fast-paced outdoor environments with varying weather, noise, and terrain.
  • - Remain on feet for extended periods and engage in frequent public interaction.

Requirements

  • **QUALIFICATIONS**
  • - Minimum of 2 years of security, gate operations, or door management experience.
  • - Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to project voice clearly when needed.
  • - Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments.
  • - Experience in handling conflict resolution professionally and effectively.
  • - Working knowledge of safety, security, and crowd management protocols.
  • - Ability and willingness to travel to all festival markets throughout the season.
