About the role
- Evaluate and make recommendations for architectural acoustics, room-to-room isolation and building systems noise control.
- Establish acoustical criteria based on Owner's specific needs
- Reviewing Architectural and MEP drawings for conformance with acoustical criteria
- Take mechanical and /or architectural designs into modelling software to ascertain criteria such as RT60 and NC
- Use data from modeling software to make recommendations to maximize design options
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering or Architecture
- At least 1-3 years of prior work experience (Internship experience is fine).
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam and Revit software
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, and good verbal, interpersonal and writing skills
- Working knowledge of audiovisual or other low-voltage building systems.
