Account Executive

• Proactively identify and pursue new client relationships with school districts (5,000-50,000 students in size) in your sales territory, working to build a strong sales pipeline.
• Lead sales engagements by understanding prospect needs, challenges, and goals, offering solutions that align with Branching Minds’ value proposition.
• Strategically map accounts and engage with key decision-makers to drive sales across multiple stakeholders.
• Effectively communicate Branching Minds’ offerings, ensuring the value is clearly articulated in alignment with client objectives.
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales quotas, pipeline growth, and activity metrics.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure the seamless delivery of solutions.
• Develop accurate proposals and contracts that reflect both the client’s needs and the capability of Branching Minds.
• Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to position Branching Minds as a leader and trusted advisor.
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of all customer interactions, including use cases, deal stages, timelines, and next steps, using HubSpot.
• Work closely with Implementation and Customer Success teams to ensure a smooth transition post-sale and high client satisfaction within your accounts.
• Collaborate with Customer Success teams to ensure seamless implementation and high client satisfaction, fostering long-term partnerships and reducing churn.
• Represent Branching Minds at industry conferences and networking events to expand market presence and deepen industry knowledge.
• Contribute to the refinement of sales processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in client acquisition.
• Manage your pipeline and performance with a data-driven approach, leveraging key metrics to guide decision-making and optimize results.

Events

• Coordinate internal resources and teams, develop a communication strategy, and collaborate with vendors and partner organizations to ensure exceptional experiences for prospects and customers, generating new pipelines and supporting customer retention.
• Act as the lead link between sales, marketing, partnerships, customer success, and learning sciences for event support. Maintain a calendar of sales-hosted and attended events, marketing-hosted events, and thought leadership conferences. Consistently evaluate and refine marketing support across all event types.
• Manage deadlines for proposal submissions, develop landing pages, track leads and attendance, order swag and collateral, manage budgets, own conference registrations, and handle promotion and follow-up tasks.
• Own marketing event communications and logistics, including web page creation and management, promotion, invites, lead nurturing emails and automation, list maintenance and segmentation, and email correspondence with event presenters and participants. Ensure effective email nurturing before and after events.
• Collaborate with sales, customer success, and the leadership team, to deliver exceptional experiences for our customers and prospects, supporting relationship-building and customer retention. This includes planning offsite dinners, special venue reservations, and entertainment events from start to finish.
• Assess and improve our event management processes, from tracking and project management systems to event marketing stack and integration.
• Lead the overarching event strategy in partnership with sales leadership by identifying the right events to attend and defining the optimal presence at each to maximize ROI through thoughtful selection, resourcing, and performance evaluation.

Event Marketing Manager

Customer Success Manager

• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for a portfolio of school & district partners
• Guide the end-to-end customer experience from onboarding to renewal, inclusive of leading kickoff and customization calls, check-ins, progress reviews, cross-sell, and renewal and expansion conversations
• Work closely with district partners to understand their unique goals and needs, collaborating with internal teams (e.g., sales, implementation, professional services, product & marketing) to develop solutions and success plans that lead to sustainable practice and positive outcomes with Branching Minds
• Create and manage customer journeys and engagement campaigns in our customer success platform (ChurnZero), tracking and reporting on customer health and progress toward milestones
• Develop and execute strategies to drive Branching Minds adoption and platform usage to increase customer value, satisfaction, and reduce churn for your portfolio of accounts
• Maintain a regular cadence of calls along with Beginning, Middle, and End of Year Reviews with school and district leadership highlighting key success metrics and opportunities for improvement
• Act as a liaison between district partners and internal teams, advocating for their needs and communicating feedback to improve our product and services
• Identify opportunities for customer advocacy through case studies, sales referrals, white papers, webinar panels and other initiatives to highlight partner success and innovation
• Regular tracking and monitoring of usage, milestones, and health metrics; proactively identifying potential issues and escalating to Customer Success leadership for additional support as needed
• Own contract renewals for your portfolio of accounts, managing the process in our CRM (Hubspot) which includes updating stages, generating quotes, and collaborating with sales for expansion opportunities
• Provide direct support and guidance through live-chat/email/phone, platform walkthroughs/webinars, and occasional onsite travel
• Leverage insights from data to develop and refine the customer experience by identifying pain points and possible solutions
• Develop deeper knowledge of MTSS best practices and all product offerings to effectively guide customers toward better outcomes with Branching Minds

• Leverage our existing partners to drive new opportunities, as well as to work with them to grow these existing partnerships
• Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing on districts with up to 5,000 students
• Show off your outbound cold-calling hustle and presentation skills via a webinar
• Flex your strong organization and reporting abilities
• Communicate and work with the team on overall sales and marketing strategies
• Manage transitions to the customer support team to ensure customer success
• Manage contact lifecycle transitions from a lead to a customer
• Deliver high-impact presentations and engagement at conferences and district site visits.

Junior Account Executive – West Coast Territory

Sales Development Rep

• As a Sales Development Representative, you will be integral in forming partnerships with school districts to help all students succeed by improving their RTI / MTSS practice
• You will be able to leverage your creativity and passion to provide solutions to educators, and build a high-quality sales pipeline for the team
• This role reports to the Sales Development Manager
• Achieve and exceed monthly KPIs, including qualified meetings and pipeline generation
• Schedule meetings with school districts in your territory for the sales team using various outbound tactics (cold calling, emailing, social selling, etc.)
• Efficiently follow-up with inbound leads and provide an outstanding first experience to Branching Minds and our product offerings
• Take ownership of developing your account-based prospecting strategy: research target accounts; identify key players; and craft targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to schedule high-quality meetings with key decision makers
• Collaborate with your territory team and cross-functional teams to develop sales and marketing strategies to build quality pipeline
• Partner with the Sales Development Manager on crafting creative, personalized campaigns and cadences aligned with overall territory strategy
• Attend territory conferences, meetings, etc (10% travel)
