About the role
- Ideate and conceptualize new ad formats tailored to business goals such as shopping conversions, app installs, retargeting, brand engagement, and awareness.
- Build ad products that improve user experience, ad relevance, and conversion performance.
- Identify opportunities for new formats on App Drawer SDK, In-App Ads SDK, and publisher inventory.
- Conduct market, competitor, and trend analysis to build differentiated ad products.
- Define product requirements, specifications, and success metrics for each ad format.
- Work closely with engineering, design, data science, and sales teams to bring new ad products from concept to launch.
- Partner with sales and business teams to understand customer goals and build formats aligned with advertiser needs.
- Evaluate user flows to ensure ad formats enhance — not disrupt — app experience.
- Collaborate with DSP, SSP, and Ad Exchange teams to ensure new formats are supported end-to-end.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Ad Tech, in roles such as Product Manager, Ad Product Strategist, or Ad Innovation Lead.
- Strong understanding of ad formats across DSPs, SSPs, exchanges, OEM SDKs, and in-app environments.
- Demonstrated experience building performance-oriented ad products (shopping ads, app install ads, retargeting formats, etc.).
- Knowledge of user experience principles, UI/UX considerations, and app design constraints.
- Familiarity with RTB, OpenRTB guidelines, mobile SDK ads, rendering engines, and ad serving flows.
- Strong analytical mindset — able to derive insights from data and drive product decisions.
- Ability to communicate concepts clearly to engineering, design, data science, and sales teams.
- Experience creating detailed PRDs, wireframes, product flows, and go-to-market plans.
