About the role
- Plans, organizes and controls overall functions of the outpatient and outreach location in accordance with corporate policies and objectives.
- Carry out individual marketing and public relations activities.
- Establish and maintain effective communication between referral sources and facility.
- Supervise and assist business affairs, clinical operations, crisis and marketing staff along with their activities.
- Know and abide by the general provisions of 42 CFR Part 2, "Confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patient Records"; and 45 CFR "Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act".
- This position has unrestricted access to patient health information.
- Supervise and direct all locations affairs in accordance with established Bradford policies and practices.
- Carry out all policies established by corporate directives.
- Selects, employs, manages and discharges all employees and maintains personnel policies of the facility.
- Responsible for annual location marketing and financial budget plans.
- Keep all physical properties in good repair and operating condition.
- Supervise all business affairs and ensure that the results of operations are in line with the budget.
- Coordinate with the crisis coordinator and clinical staff to establish and maintain effective communication between referral sources and the facility.
- Work with the clinical staff and all others rendering professional services to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
- Responsible for location compliance with all Bradford Health Services policy and procedures.
- Ability to work in a cooperative manner with coworkers, clients, managers, prospective clients.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness as to perform job safely.
- Carries out individual marketing and public relations activities as needed.
- Regular attendance.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related degree, eligible for licensure.
- Fully licensed in Alabama as a LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent.
- At least three years post masters and two years supervisory experience.
- Experience in chemical dependency setting preferred.
- Knowledge of organizational structure of corporations, school systems, healthcare, and judicial systems and demonstrated experience in office management preferred.
- Excellent verbal and oral communication and management skills required.
