About the role
- Prospecting and Targeting – Research target accounts, find decision makers
- Outreach and Engagement – Cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn messaging and sending personalized campaigns
- Qualify leads and set meetings for the sales team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, software vendors, and channel partners.
- Develop an understanding of customer needs and align them with appropriate software licensing solutions.
- Support the sales cycle from initial contact through to deal closure, working alongside senior sales and technical consultants.
- Attend industry events, expos, and conferences to network and promote our services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Keep up to date with vendor programs, market trends, and new technologies.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop a career in software sales.
- Driven, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong customer service mindset.
- Comfortable presenting to and engaging with customers at all levels.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a global team.
- Willingness to travel across the US as required.
- Previous experience in a sales or business development role (Nice to Have).
- Experience in software sales or software licensing (Nice to Have).
- Knowledge of key software vendors and IT channel partners (Nice to Have).
