• Collaborate with other Revenue Cycle functions or departments to resolve DNBs, claim edits, denials
• Ensure claims have appropriate information on them for submission to insurance companies or agencies

• Provides insurance verification for insured patients
• Informs patients of financial obligations at time of service
• Responds to internal and external phone calls regarding patients’ insurance verification inquiries
• Processes and posts patient payments in accordance with department policies and performance goals
• Performs in-depth insurance benefit verification with all payer sources
