About the role
- Identify and open new accounts through lead management and prospecting.
- Grow existing business within a list of strategic accounts through lead management and prospecting.
- Cold Call and Email leads to develop new opportunities.
- Capture all prospecting activities and maintain/update accurate customer information in Salesforce.
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with our estimation teams to generate customer quotes.
- Work with our customer service teams to fulfill purchase orders.
- Identify areas for sales process improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Telephone / Inside Sales experience.
- 2+ years of manufacturing or distribution sales; preferably with experience selling a mix of off-shelf and customized products.
- Strong verbal/ phone and email communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Salesforce or similar CRM.
- Must have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task.
