About the role

  • Identify and open new accounts through lead management and prospecting.
  • Grow existing business within a list of strategic accounts through lead management and prospecting.
  • Cold Call and Email leads to develop new opportunities.
  • Capture all prospecting activities and maintain/update accurate customer information in Salesforce.
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with our estimation teams to generate customer quotes.
  • Work with our customer service teams to fulfill purchase orders.
  • Identify areas for sales process improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Telephone / Inside Sales experience.
  • 2+ years of manufacturing or distribution sales; preferably with experience selling a mix of off-shelf and customized products.
  • Strong verbal/ phone and email communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Must have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task.
