About the role
- Support measurement, analysis, and reporting of Bourns' website performance.
- Build and maintain Looker Studio dashboards that draw data from GA4, Google Search Console, and other properties.
- Implement and manage event tracking in GA4 via Google Tag Manager.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of website traffic, user behavior, and search performance data.
- Audit existing GA4 configurations for accuracy and completeness.
- Support development of standardized web analytics reporting process.
- Collaborate with MarCom team and web development stakeholders.
- Organize and maintain supporting data in Excel or Google Sheets.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and entering the junior or senior year of study.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — ability to navigate property structure, create explorations, and interpret key metrics, including sessions, engagement rate, conversion events, and traffic source breakdowns.
- Google Tag Manager — ability to create and publish tags, triggers, and variables; experience configuring event tracking for common user interactions.
- Looker Studio — ability to build reports using multiple data connectors, create calculated fields, and design charts and scorecards for non-technical audiences.
- Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets — proficiency with data organization, filtering, pivot tables, and basic formulas used in marketing analysis.
