About the role

  • Manage and mentor the clinical applications team across WH, GI, POC, Vet Ultrasound, DR, and CT
  • Align clinical initiatives with commercial goals to support sales growth and product adoption
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and R&D on clinical messaging and product launches
  • Ensure high-quality customer onboarding, training, and clinical support to maximize system utilization
  • Attract top clinical talent and create scalable onboarding and career development programs
  • Implement tools and KPIs to measure team effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and clinical impact
  • Ensure best practices, standardized protocols, and segment-specific clinical expertise across the portfolio
  • Serve as the clinical liaison between field teams and corporate functions and represent Samsung at events
  • Collaborate to create and deliver clinical education programs supporting internal training and professional development
  • Oversee clinical contributions to digital platforms, educational content, and social media
  • Manage the clinical applications operating budget
  • Support and optimize on-site and virtual demonstrations, establishing metrics to evaluate demo effectiveness
  • Lead clinical strategy and execution for trade shows and industry events, communicating product value in high-traffic environments
  • Responsible for ~70% business travel

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years Ultrasound commercial experience at a leadership level preferred
  • RDMS required (Registered Diagnostic Sonographer in 4 or more specialties)
  • MAEd or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Digital Radiography (DR) and/or Computed Tomography (CT) preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead or support clinical optimization efforts in DR/CT environments
  • Strong understanding of DICOM standards and PACS workflows
  • Familiarity with FDA regulatory guidelines and ACR imaging standards
  • Required to wear dosimeter when in direct contact with radiation emitting devices
  • Attend/complete all required training
  • Follow all company policies regarding travel, expenses, meetings, and meals
  • Valid driving license and satisfactory driving record is mandatory
  • Background and drug testing (pre and post-employment) is required
  • Willing to travel overnight (position requires ~70% travel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Outlook, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome
  • Familiarity with clinical and economic outcome data, reimbursement, and managed care policies is highly desirable
  • Must be able to assemble facts from various areas, analyze data, and provide informed recommendations
  • Physical requirements: regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds; stand/walk/sit for long periods; able to drive long periods; stand 8-15 hours for multiple days; exposure to wet/humid conditions, fumes, chemicals, outdoor weather, extreme temperatures; interaction with x-ray devices; specific vision abilities (close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus)
