About the role
- Drafting in Bentley MicroStation: One-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, lighting/power plans, installation details, Instrumentation and Controls Diagrams, conduits/cable schedules, fire alarm and communication drawings.
- Preparing data sheets, specifications, and walkdown reports.
- Work in concert with electrical engineers and other CAD drafters from the same work group.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associates or higher degree in a technical field and a minimum of six years of related experience or a high school diploma and 13 or more years of relevant experience.
- Experience with low and medium voltage power distribution and industrial control systems
- Experience with NFPA 70, NFPA 79, and UL508A
- Must be able to support construction and operational activities related to design outputs.
- Field walkdowns will be required sometimes in radiological contaminated areas
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Successful drug screening.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.
- Requires a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Q security clearance; however, all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status.
