About the role
- Act as a sparring partner to senior leaders on leadership, talent, and organizational topics
- Co-create workforce strategies to meet short- and long-term business needs
- Influence business decisions through data-driven insights and ROI-based proposals
- Facilitate leadership development, succession planning, and career pathing
- Inspire a learning culture and support upskilling through internal and external programs
- Provide coaching and feedback to leaders based on employee experience data
- Provide guidance on employment matters, including involuntary terminations
- Ensure implementation of internal policies and compliance with labor laws
- Lead or support large-scale change initiatives and reorganizations
- Collaborate with transformation project teams to ensure smooth transitions
- Manage and participate in various project management activities including but not limited to HR integration during M&A activities, role mapping, policy harmonization, communication planning, partnership with AME HR Leadership Team to manage cadence and oversight of project deliverables and cadence
- Monitor employee engagement and address concerns during transitions
- Analyze HR metrics and dashboards to inform strategic decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including business partnering and change management
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, SuccessFactors, Workday)
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent certification preferred
- Experience in post-merger integration or organizational transformation
- Strong knowledge of employment law, labor relations, and HR best practices
- Proven ability to influence and coach senior leaders
- International HR experience and cross-cultural competence
- Project management or change management certification (e.g., PMP, Prosci)
