About the role
- Develops and owns the marketing strategy and annual marketing plan for the Natural Gas open-market segment, aligned to business objectives and core market priorities.
- Identifies priority customer segments, growth opportunities, and key initiatives aligned to business objectives.
- Leads integrated marketing programs across digital channels, events, sponsorships, enablement, and internal communications.
- Drives brand awareness and positioning to strengthen Border States’ visibility and reputation in the Natural Gas market.
- Maintains strong understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscape; provides insights to inform strategy and messaging.
- Defines KPIs and success metrics and delivers performance reviews with insights and optimization recommendations.
- Leads planning and execution for Natural Gas tradeshows, sponsorships, and networking events and the annual Natural Gas summit.
- Owns and evolves Natural Gas 101 internal training curriculum and delivers in-person and virtual training as needed.
- Partners closely with Industry Marketing, Sales Enablement, Digital Marketing, Creative Services, and Marketing Operations to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
- Supports strategic customer meetings and serves as the primary marketing partner to the Natural Gas Open Market team.
- Ensures marketing initiatives are integrated into the overall marketing calendar and executed on time and within budget.
- Upholds brand standards across all marketing materials, events, and communications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably supporting a defined market or customer segment.
- Experience developing marketing strategies and executing integrated campaigns.
- Experience with events, sponsorships, and customer-facing marketing initiatives.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing channels.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, Pardot, or similar) preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
