About the role
- Support the U.S. Department of Energy, Idaho Operations Office
- Provide administrative and technical support to the Human Resources department
- Coordinate new hire orientation/onboarding logistics
- Issue reports and maintain HR division webpages
- Manage HR-related tickler reports
- Administer recognition programs
- Assist with data entry and record-keeping in HR systems
- May assist with the drug testing program and professional credential reimbursements
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Some college coursework in Human Resources or a related field is desirable
- 1 year of relevant administrative or HR support experience
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Attention to detail in data entry and record maintenance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with basic HR processes and terminology
- Experience working in a DOE environment is preferred
