As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll influence our organization and the product experience of our platform, improving its design and usability, and citing opportunities for continued enhancements.
We’re looking for an experienced, T-shaped generalist (not the elusive unicorn) to join our growing UX practice, specifically a research-driven designer with a computer science background, strong verbal and visual communication skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented spirit.
With Boomi poised for exponential scale and growth in 2026, you will be at the core of the Company’s growth strategy, adding unique skills and diversity to the organization while manifesting user needs into useful, usable, and desirable solutions.
You will take initiative and feedback while working side-by-side with other Product Designers, UX Researchers, Content Strategists, and Technical Writers within a fluid, collaborative, and cross-functional team that includes Product Owners, Quality Engineers, and Developers.

Requirements

5-7+ years of professional experience designing complex systems or products; experience contributing to or leading design initiatives is a plus
Educational background in computer science is preferred; or relevant experience working in technical concepts and understanding how SaaS systems work from an architecture perspective
A top notch portfolio that illustrates how you solve complex problems for technical and business users, and the outcome of these efforts
Familiarity with qualitative research methods, and ability to design evidence-based solutions
Familiarity with accessibility principles and an understanding of WCAG 2 standards for UX/product design
Understanding of HTML and CSS, with an awareness of modern frameworks like React; technical expertise is not required but valued
Exceptional verbal and visual communication skills, along with presentation and negotiation skills
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban), and Lean UX principles
