About the role
- Provide technical and subject matter expertise to NGP VAN revenue organization
- Work with sales teams to position success paths for prospects and customers
- Proactively scope and design technical and business solutions
- Assist sales teams with research and provide recommendations for future sales opportunities
- Develop customized presentations, demonstrations, and prototypes
- Create content for and lead enablement sessions with the revenue organization
- Collaborate with product managers on product development strategy
- Support clients through the sales process
Requirements
- Experience working on campaigns or with nonprofits
- Previous experience with NGP VAN solutions or similar tools (ActBlue, Action Network, PDI)
- Experience running discovery workshops with customers (Intermediate to Advanced Level)
- High-achieving sales role at a SaaS company with quota
- Knowledge of key organizations and issues in progressive politics
- Experience with a web-based SaaS platform (Intermediate to Advanced Level)
- Understanding of web standards and integration methodologies (Intermediate to Advanced Level)
- Proven experience presenting to C-level executives
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
