About the role

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key US client accounts
  • Develop and grow relationships with existing, new, and prospective clients to expand logos and revenue
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and commercial discussions to build long-term partnerships
  • Partner closely with clients to understand their long-term business objectives and translate them into strategic research initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion
  • Translate client briefs into actionable research plans and insight-led recommendations
  • Track performance against revenue and growth targets
  • Contribute to proposals, RFPs, and commercial strategy
  • Lead and inspire the Client / Business Development team, working closely with Research, Operations, and Product teams
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
  • Monitor client satisfaction through regular touchpoints and feedback
  • Proactively address issues and ensure consistently high-quality project delivery
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver impactful insights and solutions
  • Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and commercial agreements
  • Stay up to date on US market trends, client needs, competitor activity, and industry developments

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in client development, business development, or commercial roles within market research, insights, or analytics
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding enterprise and mid-market client accounts
  • Strong experience managing senior client stakeholders (Brand, Marketing, Insights, Strategy leaders)
  • Deep understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, agile research, and insights commercialization
  • Demonstrated success in consultative selling and translating business challenges into research solutions
  • Experience leading and mentoring client development or account teams in a fast-growth, technology-enabled environment
  • Strong collaboration skills across research, product, and operations teams
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, forecasting, and data-driven performance management.
