About the role

  • Own and oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including recruiting coordination, onboarding, internal mobility, employee changes, and offboarding, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Act as a People Partner to managers, providing guidance on employee lifecycle decisions, policies, and People processes.
  • Lead the review and execution of employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and compensation-related updates, ensuring alignment with policies and approvals.
  • Oversee offboarding processes and documentation, ensuring compliance with state and federal labor laws and proactively identifying potential risks.
  • Serve as a primary People Operations escalation point, independently resolving Tier 1–2 inquiries and partnering with People Partners or COEs on more complex or sensitive cases.
  • Own data accuracy and governance within ADP and other HR systems, ensuring integrity across employee records, compensation, benefits, and employment status.
  • Provide operational oversight for payroll inputs, benefits administration, and time-off tracking, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Ensure employee files and e-files meet audit, legal, and internal compliance standards at all times.
  • Partner with internal People stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable labor regulations, including California employment laws, and support updates driven by regulatory changes.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert for HRIS and People Operations processes, supporting system enhancements, testing, and adoption of best practices.
  • Own People Operations processes with a governance mindset, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and audit readiness as the company grows.
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies, risks, and gaps in existing workflows and lead process improvements, including automation and system-driven solutions.
  • Play a key role in People system implementations, upgrades, and process rollouts, including testing and change management.
  • Prepare and deliver People Operations reports, trends, and operational insights to support People leadership decision-making.
  • Partner closely with People Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and other People functions to deliver seamless, end-to-end People Operations support.
  • Support and lead People initiatives, pilots, and cross-functional projects by providing senior operational expertise.
  • Act as a trusted operational advisor within the People team, helping balance employee experience, compliance requirements, and business priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field
  • 4-5 years HR Generalist or Business Partnership experience, preferably in the BPO industry
  • Extensive knowledge of labor laws
  • Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills
  • Advanced proficiency in HRIS platforms; ADP experience required
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak)
  • Solid working knowledge of California employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
