About the role
- Developing and maintaining electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs for commercial aircraft
- Involvement in wire harness installation, detail and assembly designs
- Collaborating with partners on factory floor for efficient design implementation
- Collecting data to support development of statements of work
- Reviewing functional and physical requirements for integrated designs
- Supporting critical analysis and design reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in field of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace or Material Science is preferred
- Experience with wire harness, electrical and/or mechanical design
- Experience with Computer aided design (CAD) tools are a plus
- Knowledge of CATIA V5
