About the role
- Developing and maintaining electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs for advanced Commercial Aircraft
- Developing and maintaining critical electrical cable/wire harness installation, detail and assembly designs
- Defining the physical routing layout of wire routing throughout the airplane
- Ensuring Safety and Quality are the number 1 priority
- Developing and analyzing engineering design disposition on discrepancies
- Collaborating with partners on the factory floor to ensure designs can be built efficiently and safely
- Following and improving documented processes, specifications and procedures that support safe and quality design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 3+ years of experience with wire harness, electrical and/or mechanical design
- 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in Computer aided design (CAD) tools (preferred)
- Knowledge of CATIA V5.
