About the role
- Develop next generation engineering perception and prediction solutions for aerospace applications
- Apply the latest machine learning and artificial intelligence technology from across industries, academia, and government
- Build, train and productionize cutting-edge Machine Learning models
- Develop data engineering pipelines for large aerospace data sets
- Implement software development best practices to enable product deployment
- Develop data engineering tools and pipelines to filter, organize, and understand text, parametric system data, imagery, and other operational data
- Analyze aircraft, maintenance, training, and engineering design data to increase operational efficiency and safety
- Work within a cross-functional team in Berkeley, MO to deliver production-ready solutions
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience with software development using either Java, C++, or Python
- 1+ years of experience working in the field of Artificial Intelligence including Machine Learning
- Knowledge of machine learning model development and evaluation
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate degree from an accredited course of study in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree (preferred)
- Experience with software development best practices (preferred)
- Strong technical skills and effective written and verbal communication skills (preferred)
- Desire to collaborate and innovate in an Agile software development environment (preferred)
- Willingness to travel ~10% (could be up to 20%)
- Must meet export control compliance: must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
