About the role
- Work within a cross-functional team to develop next-generation engineering perception and prediction solutions for aerospace applications
- Develop innovative, nonstandard advanced machine learning algorithms for fleet optimization, advanced health management, and pilot training
- Increase operational efficiency and safety of aircraft fleet operators by analyzing aircraft, maintenance, training, and engineering design data
- Develop data engineering tools and pipelines to filter, organize, and understand text, parametric system data, imagery, and other forms of data collected during aircraft operations
- Build, train and productionize cutting-edge machine learning models
- Implement software development best practices to enable product deployment
- Apply the latest machine learning and artificial intelligence technology from across industries, academia, and government
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with software development using either Java, C++, or Python
- 3+ years of experience working in the field of Artificial Intelligence including Machine Learning
- Knowledge of machine learning model development and evaluation
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate degree from an accredited course of study in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree (preferred)
- Experience with software development best practices (preferred)
- Strong technical skills and effective written and verbal communication skills (preferred)
- Desire to collaborate and innovate in an Agile software development environment (preferred)
- Willingness to travel up to 20% (max)
- Must meet export control compliance: "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 required
