About the role
- Work with key suppliers in support of complex development and procurement efforts for Boeing Defense, Space, and Security
- Incorporate sourcing strategies and ensure compliant procurement practices
- Support process improvement initiatives and integrate program, customer, product and program strategies into source selection
- Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders and collaboration with internal teams to gain process efficiencies
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions; prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
- Conduct risk, issues and opportunities management
- Manage supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
- Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities and integrate results into contracting strategies
- Position is contingent upon program award; travel expected to be less than 10%
Requirements
- More than 3 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Supply Chain Management
- More than 3 years of experience in Microsoft Office
- Experience with supplier contracts and negotiations
- Experience in Customer Service
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
- Experience in contracts and proposals (preferred)
- Experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations (preferred)
- Experience negotiating price and schedule with suppliers and customers (preferred)
- Experience using SAP software (preferred)
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required
- Must meet export control compliance requirements; must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15
