About the role
- Develop Python-based DevOps tools to automate orchestration, packaging, and testing of software products across the company
- Provide DevOps support and automate common development tasks in the Boeing Software Factory
- Implement and update GitLab CI pipelines
- Update and implement Bazel modules to support multiple development languages (Python, C, C++, Java, Rust)
- Work under general direction with various teams to assist migration into the Boeing Software Factory
- Support Boeing Defense Services (BDS) business organization
- Participate in technical assessments as part of the selection process
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience developing Python modules and/or scripts
- 2+ years of experience developing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI preferred)
- 3+ years of experience developing software for embedded systems, using one or more real-time operating systems (RTOS) (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience with C/C++ development (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience with Bazel (Module development preferred)
- Rust development experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies (preferred)
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science (preferred)
- Must meet export control compliance requirements: be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
