About the role
- Determine spares provisioning requirements for Boeing owned, Delta Airlines shared, and Government owned inventories to meet CLS contract targets
- Interpret and analyze engineering, reliability and maintainability, supply chain, and customer operations data to develop provisioning and spares solutions
- Establish recommendations for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking within multiple COMBS locations
- Initiate, coordinate, and authorize release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability
- Analyze and disposition excess Boeing and Government owned inventories
- Coordinate with Delta Airlines to manage pooled part inventories as customer configuration changes
- Implement and maintain process improvements, assist with development of tools and reports to improve processes
- Research catalogs, drawings, and internal records for part configuration management and aircraft ordering
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 2+ years of experience with spares provisioning requirements
- 2+ years of experience performing data analysis and/or reporting
- 2+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Extensive data manipulation and analysis experience
- Experience working directly with customers
- Experience analyzing and applying metrics to enable key business decisions and process improvement
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
