About the role
- Defines, deploys, evaluates and supports common computing standards, IT processes, tools and process/performance metrics
- Participates in defining plans to support common standards and processes
- Identifies qualitative and quantitative improvement measures
- Advises on the selection of key parameters and standards to monitor progress
- Provides education and promotes use of Boeing IT common processes, methodologies, products and services
- Guides processes development for software development and maintenance
- Participates in the review and evaluation of new technology for impact on process improvement strategies
- Deliver a range of Information Technology (IT) Compliance services across various IT infrastructure platforms
- Ensure services meet business expectations and align with Enterprise Infrastructure Technology Operations strategic direction
- Bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business needs, fostering relationships and driving innovation in service offerings
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience working with Virtualized Systems (i.e. VMWare) design and implementation
- 1+ years of experience with security considerations and compliance standards
- 1+ years of experience with GitLab, Azure DevOps and CI/CD Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Experience with major cloud providers (AWS and Azure Preferred)
- 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
- Experience with various DevOps tools Gitlab, Jenkins, Containers, etc. (preferred)
- Experience with various Automation tools Cheff, and Pupet (preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Federated Identity Management (preferred)
- Experience with continuous integration deployments (preferred)
- Experience with VMware 5.x and/or virtual server deployments (preferred)
- Experience with Amazon AWS services and/or Microsoft Azure (preferred)
- Export Control Requirement: must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
