About the role
- Execute and manage contracts in the Facilities Maintenance category and support multiple commodities within the category
- Lead and manage projects and initiatives related to facilities contracts
- Provide oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance
- Lead negotiations of pricing and contract terms and conditions
- Prepare and execute negotiation strategies that result in contractual documents and binding agreements
- Interpret and enforce contract terms and conditions
- Consult with internal customers to resolve supplier performance issues
- Lead supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities
- Participate in supply chain process improvement teams and identify improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies
- Understand and apply cost-reimbursable and time-and-materials contract structures where applicable
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
- 5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating, and performing complex contracts and subcontracts
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- 5+ years of experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues
- Must be willing to travel domestically as needed
- Knowledge of cost-reimbursable and time-and-materials contracts (preferred)
- Knowledge of building operations and environmental impacts (preferred)
- Experience with Ariba contracting and sourcing (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree or higher or commensurate experience (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience developing proposals or contracts (preferred)
- Experience developing and mentoring and procurement process lifecycle (preferred)
