Supports with statutory compliance activities for the company in India: preparation and review of financial statements, external audit support
Representation of the company towards external stakeholders as Tax Authorities, Statistics & other
Coordinates month end, quarter and year end closing activities, supports and collaborates with internal departments and our external partners to compile accurate financial statements
Reconciles financial information according to Company and regulatory accounting policies and procedures
Analyzes and interprets complex directives, policies and regulatory requirements to provide recommendations on new and existing accounting issues
Reviews and controls monthly results, variances in balance sheet and income statement, ensure the accuracy of accounting entries
Participates as subject matter expert in key business initiatives and activities to support business growth
Is involved in improving the quality of processes and systems, participate in implementation of new regulations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher/ Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is required as a basic qualification
Qualified CA with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
Knowledge of local accounting principles, including US GAAP and IFRS
Experience in global financial operations and/or international financial reporting
Strong understanding of transfer pricing models, local & cross border tax implications, intercompany transactions
Proficient computer skills with MS Office, ERP and accounting systems experience
Familiar with Sarbanes Oxley Act and/or other internal control concepts (preferred)
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work individually
Ability to handle diverse workload and work in deadline dedicated environment
