Execute the contracted statement of work focused primarily on Work Packages C (Design Organisation Services) and D (Supply Chain Management)
Work with Work Package DO Services Lead and DO Services Lead acting as Control Account Manager
Ensure WP Leads contribution adheres to schedules and deliver Change Management support to improvement activities
Understand and interpret customer needs and out satisfaction of them
Incorporate Programme Management Best Practices (PMBP) into daily operations
Develop a comprehensive understanding of programme processes and working methods
Maintain relationships with internal and external suppliers, as well as customer base, to support programme delivery to the Front Line
Assist the LTTSS Prog Mgr with additional projects as required to meet programme needs
Oversee multiple stakeholders, projects, and customers simultaneously
Lead cross-functional teams by defining Roles, Accountabilities, and Authorities (RAAs)
Generate assumptions, exclusions, and dependencies leveraging cross-functional stakeholders
Negotiate with customers on project parameters including deliverable definitions and performance objectives
Collaborate with a Project Scheduler to develop project plans and define deliverables; present them with Programme Reviews
Establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with project and functional organisations, including customer counterparts
Diffuse conflicts or difficult situations to ensure alignment with project objectives
Requirements
Background in Project and Programme Management
Experience of Engineering Design Organisation Services and Supply Chain Management within the Defence industry (advantageous)
Familiarity with Project and Programme Management best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project
Experience in managing risks, issues and opportunities
Solid understanding of contracts, change management processes and schedule management
Experience such as aircraft operational maintenance and continuing airworthiness management advantageous but not essential
Experience in stakeholder management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Commercial awareness and ability to work within and comply with Boeing’s commercial processes
Sound knowledge of the project lifecycle, from requirements definition and proposal preparation to negotiation and project implementation through to completion
Demonstrable experience working with UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) platforms
A valid driving licence is required
Ability to obtain a UK security clearance for which UK residency is required
Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom
