About the role
- Complete Structural Risk Assessment for structural locations using common statistical analysis methods, tools and software
- Perform Single Flight Probability of Failure risk analysis and generate risk reports for customers
- Complete Durability and Damage Tolerance Analysis for structural locations using common fatigue and fracture tools and software
- Develop technical reports and present analysis results
- Work as part of Engineering Teams supporting various aircraft, weapons systems, and Boeing business units (Air Dominance, Mobility/Surveillance/Bombers, Space Intelligence & Weapons Systems, Boeing Global Services)
- Work under general supervision
- Position is expected to be 100% onsite at listed location options (Berkeley, MO)
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science (required)
- 2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR a Master’s degree
- Experience in fatigue and damage tolerance analysis
- Experience conducting basic statistical analysis
- Ability to develop technical reports and present results
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required by U.S. Government for clearance)
- Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
- Export control compliance: must meet definition of "U.S. Person" (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Preferred: Active Secret Clearance
- Preferred: 2+ years performing structural fatigue and fracture analysis
- Preferred: 2+ years performing statistical analysis
- Preferred: Knowledge of Aircraft Structural Integrity Program and its requirements
- Preferred: Strong oral and written communications skills
- Subject to post-offer drug testing per company policy
