About the role
- Lead a team to conduct tests, monitor progress, record test activities, and troubleshoot unforeseen events
- Operate, integrate, install, troubleshoot, and maintain test equipment
- Provide technical solutions to complex problems; develop test debriefs and evaluate test performance data
- Collect test data, recommend configuration changes, perform special test procedures, and prepare for next test activities
- Conduct reallocation, disposition or refurbishment of test articles and assets
- Design component and sub-assembly level hardware or software per Statement of Work and verify designs using analytical tools
- Coordinate manufacture and assembly of test hardware; generate test plans and interface with internal contacts
- Prepare test configuration work instructions and change orders; stage test hardware; participate in test readiness and safety reviews
- Perform calibrations and system check-out/validation; configure software for data acquisition and analysis; prepare daily execution plans
- Train junior engineers in proper test procedures and test conduct
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 5+ years of experience in electrical component testing
- Advanced knowledge of Electrical Engineering with expertise in complex system design and analysis
- Extensive experience with IC Electrical Parameter Test Stands, including development and troubleshooting
- Proficient in PCB layout and milling software, with leadership in design projects
- Experience with National Instruments LabVIEW and developing software to interface with hardware (NI modules, ancillary test equipment, etc) of testing of electrical components
