About the role
- Oversee mission architecture and spacecraft/constellation design across programs
- Design, develop modeling and simulation tools to validate mission scenarios
- Assess sensor design, development, and performance
- Write proposals, requirements definition, and system design
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in the design, development, delivery, and operation of space-based remote sensing missions
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or the physical sciences / computer science
- Subject Matter Expertise in earth-observing EO/IR missions
- Expertise in development of mission modeling and simulation tools to assess sensing mission performance
- Expertise in the design and performance of EO/IR sensors
- Possess active SECRET clearance
