About the role

  • Associate Electrical Power Design & Analysis Engineer role supporting Boeing Poland's military and defense aircraft products. Perform analyses to ensure safe and appropriate electrical power loading for systems on air and space platforms. Provide electrical system power knowledge to design and modification efforts and support design process from concept through production. Design physical electrical wiring systems and maintain cable and wire harness detail and assembly designs. Coordinate, test, and verify Electrical Power requirements; review supplier data; perform Electrical Loads Analysis (ELA) in accordance with MIL-E-7016 and MIL-STD-704. Lead and coordinate translation of requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs; solve field issues; support project management activities. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, trade studies; model power subsystem behavior; develop automated test equipment; support in-service product investigations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 2 or more years' related work experience Familiar with Electrical Loads Analysis (ELA) concepts, MIL-E-7016 with experience in electrical wiring system design and architecture Knowledge of electrical standards, codes, and regulations with great attention to detail Fluent in both written and verbal English. Experience in developing and maintaining cable and wire harness detail and assembly designs for complex projects. Experience using power measurement test and measurement instrumentation (such as power supplies, power meters, and analyzers)
