About the role
- Lead and perform the identification, analysis, and documentation of requirements for network LAN technologies and services based on customer goals, objectives, cost and security constraints
- Work collaboratively with other stakeholders in focused, agile-inspired sprint teams
- Create and document designs that conform to architectural and security standards to meet customer requirements
- Prepare, deploy, and coordinate installation of complex implementation packages
- Provide Level 3 Incident/Problem Management support in preventative, proactive and reactive maintenance
- Support and participate in component research to provide input for more comprehensive evaluation
- Lead and perform implementation planning for tactical multi-technology insertion projects
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
- 5+ years of experience with Cisco wireless technologies
- 5+ years of experience with Cisco routers and switches & Cisco IOS implementations
- 5+ years of experience utilizing Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network protocols
- 5+ years of experience in developing presentations, integrating technical & non-technical content
- 5+ years of experience with written and verbal communication and presentations
- Ability to support after-hours change windows and implementations
- Willing to cover on-call shifts, including weekends and after hours
